In 2022, the CUNY Adult Literacy Program partnered with the Literacy Assistance Center and Community Votes to get more eligible New Yorkers to vote. As part of the project, CUNY:

Created lesson plans integrating academic skills with civics content to prepare adults to get a high school degree.

Compiled voter engagement lessons and resources for adult literacy, ESOL and high school equivalency classrooms.
